Hello! My name is Mehmet Yilmaz. I’m a builder with over 5 years in tech and more than 12 years of building software. Today I work as a Systems Engineer III at Charter where I build video ML models, automated broadcast systems for over 12.5M subscribers, and architected a DRM analytics pipeline that processes over 60M logs per day. Previously I founded Osgil and raised $145K in pre-seed funding from Forum Ventures at a $1.93M valuation. And in 2025 I started E&F as a vehicle to build new ventures. My past work includes distributed systems at eBay, machine learning at Bild AI (YC), LLM benchmarking at Anarchy (YC), and robotics research at the HCR Lab. I also built Notify Cyber (17K visitors & 65K Reddit views), won 4 hackathons, and earned a CS degree in Robotics & Intelligent Systems from the Colorado School of Mines. Separately, I write essays on technology, business, and strategy (available in 23 languages).
